The Squids 3707 Web Tool Tether Attachments (6-Pack) act as a retrofit attachment point to tether small hand tools up to 2lbs // 0.9kg and prevent dropped or falling objects from occurring on the job.
Built for secure attachment to tools, this anchor attachment is made of heavy-duty nylon webbing and high-tensile strength nylon thread. Both ends feature a reinforced double-stitch web catch for a more durable stop. Once the base of the tail is securely taped to the tool or anchor point, the non-conductive D-ring acts as a captive hole for tethering tool lanyards and is safe to use when working around electrical circuits or heat.
For best use, securely wrap the web tool tail between its catch points with Squids 3755 Self-Adhering Tape Trap to capture (trap) it onto a tool. When working at heights, it’s essential to tether your tools as part of your fall protection plan.
