The Ergodyne Tenacious Tester Program
Join an exclusive group of workers in a never-ending quest for pure product perfection
WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
We obsessively design, test and retest every single solution we bring to the workforce. But that doesn’t mean we clock out when our gear hits the job site. Our army of Tenacious Testers keeps pushing us—and worker safety—to perfection with the kind of insight that can only come from time in the trenches. Your reviews, your reports from the field, become our improvements.
So, go ahead. Give it to us straight. Your unvarnished input is what we need to keep reaching for the stars. All five of them.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD PRODUCT REVIEW?
BE DETAILED - Leave those one word answers to your despondent teen at the dinner table. Include: What you liked/disliked; how and where it was used; how often it was used etc
BE HONEST - If you truly love it, by all means max out those stars, baby. If not, don’t pull any punches. Let us know what could be better. Flattery for the sake of free gear gets us nowhere.
TAKE CLEAR, WELL-LIT PHOTOS AND VIDEOS - Is that an arborist modeling our new thermal work jacket or controversial new proof of Bigfoot’s existence?
CONTEXT IS KEY - Make sure photos and videos capture how the work gear is actually being used in the environment it’s being used in.

GloWear 8283BK Lightweight Performance Hi-Vis T-Shirt
“I was able to wear this shirt for over 10 hours a day, and it kept me cool and looking sharp. The shirt pocket is handy for keeping my note pad in, and a pen. The reflective strips are nice, and the shirt breaths well due to underarm vents and the material. I do wish it had a pen pocket or two in the left sleeve, but its fine without it. The shirt is nice and thin, not bulky, so tucking it in is nice and easy. It keeps looking new after washing it, and the reflective strips are fine after washing also. This is my go-to shirt when I am going to be on the side of the road, or in and out of traffic all day. Love it!”
N-Ferno 6467 Winter Work Jacket
“I got this jacket just in time for some pretty cold weather for our area. This jacket did a great job in temperatures below 15F. I love the reflective bits, being that I often work at dusk, and this jacket is all black. The only two things I would change if I could would be the breast pocket opening is too small to fit anything in, and the flap on the pockets makes it hard to get your hand in. They get in the way. Other than those to things, I love everything about this jacket!”
ProFlex 391 Lightweight XL Foam Kneeling Pad
“We decided to try our this kneeling pad at my work, as we are on concrete all day, and have to climb under trucks and motor homes as well as work on small parts on the ground. We all love this pad! It is just the right size for us, and it makes a long day at work easy on our knees. I highly recommend it for anyone in the tire business. We are looking to order several more to put in our service trucks!”

Chill-Its 8937 Performance Cooling Baseball Hat
“Here is a perfect example of head gear that works. It’s not your ordinary baseball cap. It’s actually comfortable AND on top of that, it keeps your head cool on those hot days. It’s adjustable so it fits your cranial piece well. It’s super simple to do the cooling process. Just pour water, wring and shake. Good to go. Head is now cooler. This is a good har for all hot day occasions like yard work, job site work and of course, a baseball game! This is a good hat and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to keep a cool head.”
GloWear 8377EV Enhanced Visibility Reflective Winter Bomber Jacket
“Got this jacket for a new winter jacket as the one I normally use is a bulky name branded one. I usually start work (and sometimes end work) in the dark so the high vis striping helps keep me visible while I’m walking around. The jacket is nice and warm and is even better when u wear a hoodie underneath. The exterior storage compartments are smaller than I’d like and there is a cell phone pocket, which is very handy, but u need a smaller phone to really utilize it. There are shoulder clips for a radio, making that a great option for people who have to constantly wear them and are tired of reaching inside your jacket to use it. I ordered an extra large and it fit just fine. I did not use the hood yet but I assume it’ll be more of a wind breaker type hood. Overall, this is a comfortable jacket and I enjoyed wearing it. I would recommend this to others.”
Arsenal 5031 Water-Resistant Duffel Bag
“I got this bag because the one I used to use was not cutting it. My gear would get wet when it rained , I always ran out of space for equipment. Not any more. This is a great bag to upgrade to. Now I can leave it out and not worry as much about gearing up w soaked equipment. I have very ample space to keep everything and it’s well organized w all the extra slots and pockets it has. The shoulder strap is sturdy and the cushion is nice so far. The strap for carrying in hand is also comfortable. I’m very happy with this bag and would recommend it to others for sure. Only down side is this - I have to find more things to fill it up with now! If you use it for travel, it is defiantly spacious enough for a few days of travel and will hold up well to any minor to moderate abuse.”

Skullerz 8987 Rechargeable Headlamp Light
“I use a hardhat-mounted light every day of my working life. The mill is full of poorly lit areas, and working in electrical enclosures always has you working in your own shadow, so the ability to see where you point your face is critical. I switched to this light from the standard replaceable battery type a while ago, and I have been nothing but pleased. I find that the charge lasts longer under heavy use, and I keep the usb ready at my office desk for easy charging when I'm off the plant floor. One drawback is when you forget to charge it before it dies completely and you have to wait for it to charge, as opposed to a quick swap of batteries. That said, I've gone through a pantload of AAA batteries over the last decade or so, which generates a lot of universal waste, and I'm just one fella. Multiply that by the rest of the working stiffs, and you've got a mountain of batteries. Ugh. Glad to leave that behind.”
ProFlex 9003 Certified Lightweight Anti-Vibration Gloves
“I am familiar with Anti-vibration gloves for tasks using jackhammers, pneumatic tampers, and the like, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well these gloves reduced sharp impact pain while using a punch to drive a pin. If you have experienced the bone-jarring discomfort when hammering metal into metal, I would suggest giving these a try. This job was killing me, until I remembered that I had a pair of these gloves. After putting one on my punch-laden hand, I couldn't even feel the impact any more. It was an awesome transition! Granted, these gloves are made for this and not much more, but what they do, they do very, very well.”
N-Ferno 6980 Winter Hand Warmer Muff
“Though it might not be the right fit for every outdoor cold weather application, I continue to think of occasions where I might wear this thing, and look forward to doing so. Football games, parades, chores, walks, whatever. When what you are doing requires the dexterity of your hands and gloves aren't the best option, this will help keep the nip away. The removable extension for the waistband ensures that this will fit everyone from the kids to Uncle Jimmy who looooooves his donuts. The interior fleece is plenty warm, but with pockets for hand warming pouches, it can be as warm as you want. As usual, Ergodyne's distinct design style is also included.”

Skullerz 8975V Safety Helmet with Visor Kit - Class C
“I was really excited to get to try one of these style of hats out! I absolutely love the field of vision you get with this product. No frames or unnecessary things in your way. The suspension system is as solid as any other well built hat and it is very comfortable. Also I didn’t know when I ordered it but the vents can be open or closed which is neat because once the cold comes it’ll be nice to not have to tape the vents shut like I had to on my old skid lid. I have been asked by so many people on the job who makes it because it looks more stylish than all the other ones on site, and probably 95% of people compliment it. The only thing I wish it had is an option for a mirrored lens, other than that it’s a solid hat and seems like it’s going to last a long time.”
N-Ferno 6468 Heavy-Duty Duck Canvas Work Jacket - Sherpa Lined, Water Resistant
“So upon receiving this jacket I was fortunate enough to get it right before a pretty good storm. This thing is incredibly warm. I’m used to wearing a hoodie under my old coat, so the first day of wearing the ergo coat I did that. As soon as I started working I was too hot! Also the zippers and pockets are so functional and user friendly. Also love the cinch you can do on the waist for them windy days. Well done ergodyne, another awesome product!”
Squids 3185 Glazier's Tool Tethering Kit
“I have been a glazier for ten years now and have finally found an easy and great solution to tool tie offs. The only thing it’s missing is the hand tool traps but they aren’t expensive so I will be adding them to my collection in the near future. I have used every item in the kit so far and it has exceeded my expectations and done exactly what it needs to do. Also I must include the kit is very user friendly and includes easy instructions of how to tether all types of tools properly. I will definitely continue using ergodyne for all my tool tethering needs.”
