The Squids Tape Measure Trap offers a convenient connection point for tool lanyards, for safe and easy tethering on difficult to tether tape measures. The tape measure traps attaches firmly to tape measures preventing them from become dangerous dropped objects. The 3770 features a nickel plated belt clip for holstering, a D-ring connection point for tool lanyards, and multiple hook and loop straps making the tape measure trap flexible to accommodate standard 16, 25, and 35 foot tape measures.

To attach the trap to a tape measure, undo the hook and loop straps and open up the trap. Take the tape measure and place it in the trap. The back of the tape measure should be facing the D-ring on the back of the trap. Firmly strap down the thin webbing hook and loop strap on the front of the trap. Then firmly pull down the large hook and loop flaps on the side of the trap, beginning with the top. Attach a tool lanyard to the D-ring to complete your tethering system. The Squids Tape Measure Trap allows full function of the tape measure while tethered.
